Gold ore can be smelted in a furnace to create gold bars.
Gold ore can be obtained by mining the gold rocks in various places such as Crafting guild, Barbarian, Rimmington crater, and Brimhaven. It requires level 40 Mining to be mined, and grants 372 experience per ore.
Tip: Crafting guild is the best mining site for gold ores. It has 6 gold rocks there and the bank is literally just 5 steps away.
