The Ruined dragon armour slice can only be obtained as a very rare drop from the King Black Dragon or from Commander Zilyana. It can only be used in combination with a Ruined dragon armour lump and a Ruined dragon armour shard to create a Dragon platebody. To do this use one of the ruined dragon armour pieces on an anvil, this requires a Smithing level of 90 and a Blast fusion hammer in your inventory. Creating the dragon platebody will grant 966 smithing experience.
