No gloves either. These videos are more about showing off the money you get from slayer. You will get more money/h wearing boots/gloves that actually give stats.

And use bandos instead of third-age which gives better defence bonuses.

Given that this video is meant to be showing the money you get from slayer tasks, investing into offensive stats is a better idea since it gets things done faster. Third age is by no means bad armour, but I do not think it's a necessity at mithril dragons.
