Smelting bars

I think that Smelting ores into bars should be done 2 by at time you put in the furnace.
This idea came me while looking at the difference between my Smithing exp and Mining exp,  this disparity between Mining and Smithing is so huge that mining is a really easy skill and smithing is really hard.

A lot of ores come into the game from PvM as well. Smithing is semi-AFK while mining is click intensive and boring af if you want to train it fast. In my eyes smithing is a way more enjoyable skill to train.

In addition to what Otto said, maybe add some iron ore drop to monster drop table?

Iron isn't really needed at anything. If iron ore were added to some drop tables, it should be for low level monsters.

I don't think either skill is bad in particular, they could do with more content but I don't think making smelting faster is necessary. Superheating while you're mining for ores would still be superior to smelting at a furnace.
