Hi this is a Re: Suggestion of my original idea regarding the option for allowing players to have timestamps shown after every action etc.
In the original post their where responses such as what the purpose, what it can be used for etc.
Here I'm going to explain in detail, what it is and how can it be used in context within the game.
Overall SummaryA timestamp is a sequence of characters or encoded information identifying when a certain event occurred, usually giving date and time of day, sometimes accurate to a small fraction of a second.
For those of you, who still cant get the grasp of what this actually means. It means that there is a specific time when things occur throughout the game and they act a so called 'stamp' showing the time the event occurred.
For Example here is a traditional chat box, that shows comments from players selling merchandise. With the suggestion that I am proposing, it will show a time infront of each comment, to show the exact time the player had said something etc.
(It doesn't have to be what a player says it can also be an event such as a fallen star, herbs read to be harvested etc.)
To be honest, if you look at this idea practically, it does not only aid players infact, it aids the staff team to record and show concrete evidence to certain offences, for instance, a player being offensive or abusing a bug etc. there will be solid evidence as to when the offence was commited.
