We should have some sort of dialogue pop-up before these items are equipped warning users that they will never be able to trade them again. The system would be very useful in the long run.

A lot of people aren't aware of this and not everyone (especially new people) reads the news section or do their research on the wiki.

A good suggestion in my opinion.

This is usually yelled a few times ingame after a new update. It should become a habit to read the changes after an update ;) Even if it's advertised more, I doubt those people that refuse to use the forums will change their mind.
