High Alchemy
« on: February 10, 2016, 02:20:37 am »
Could it be possible to create a warning for using high alchemy on an item worth over 1m? This might prevent somebody from high alching their saradomin godsword or other valuable items.

Makes sense, could be useful.
I'm assuming you alched something over 1m recently :kappa:

What are the default prices based on? Still general shop prices or ge prices?
I would personally like the starting point around 250k, since dragon chainbody is usually the most valuable item that is alched, that starting point is optimal. It would also minimize the risk alching items with substantially lower worth than they actually are.

I think if this did happen then it should be 1m or over.

I'm in favor of it.

Yes, I placed it at 1m or over because a lot of players high Alch dragon chain bodies and the like instead of selling them to other players, meaning it would be extremely annoying for those players if the value was set lower. So I would like to see it around 1m so that the (Usually)  most important weapons like Godswords would have a warning.

Did somebody alch their sgs again?

I've never found it difficult to keep my alchs away from things I don't wanna alch. I wouldn't mind the change, but I don't think it's necessary.

Why would someone alch something worth more than 1m in general store? If it's over 1m, than it's obviously worth a lot more in GE. and what in the hell is worth 1m that you have a ton of that makes it annoying to alch?
