Get rid of "Post Count"
« on: November 17, 2014, 07:49:35 am »
Why is post count needed/necessary?
I'm tired of seeing the same username going all the way down the forums page from people obviously just wanting to get their cool post counts up and be better than their friends.
It results in many useless posts and you look at somebody's profile and all their comments are "Lol" "^" "Agree'd"
Someone just explain to me why it's needed, and if it isn't, I believe it should be taken away.

I disagree, it's a easy way to see players activity.

It can stay as it is right now, if they want to increase their post count, that's up to them.
(Thanks Bluestorm for the sexy siggy)

I like having postcount, it is easy to see whether the user commenting is a respectful forum user that knows his shit or some noob that never posted before and might just talk random gibberish.

I disagree, postcount has a lot of advantages to keep the players activity well-considered. however, it still doesn't really interest an amount of normal players.

I may not be the best, but I'm definitely not like the rest.

"But remember, the higher your postcount, the bigger your dick will be "
Wise words. Thus I disagree.

On a serious note, It doesn't really signify anything more than forums activity, and why should that be taken away.

It's dedication, not forum activity.
Go check time spent online.
There is 10 people with everything from 6-12 days on that list.
Then you check out Top 10 Posters.
4 Off the top 10 posters are in the top 10 players spent time online.
And it surprises me that you, who doesnt even have 6 days online got 700++ posts.
That is what i call dedication. You spend all your hours posting on the forums while you are here and nothing else:D
You should recieve an award!
