Crossbows and bolts are weak. They are slow and barely deal any damage for how slow they are. The only good thing about crossbows is that they're one handed and you can have a shield with it but that small extra defence bonus of a shield is not worth it at all when you look at the crappy damage of the crossbows.

My suggestion is to make crossbows w/ bolts stronger, this can be done by either buffing the crossbow speed, buffing the stats of the bolts or increasing the % chance of the effect proccing when using (e) bolts.

Please give me your opinions.

Seeming them get a bit better would be great, since they're pretty much useless now.
But I don't want to see them get as strong as on scape tho.

Much needed, the is no current market for bolts while they were so popular on release.
Small stat buff & chance of (e) proc buffs increase would be nice. Don't let to go overboard though.

i agree. i used to use my hunter c bow on mith drags, but i soon realised there are faster methods. the dps of cross bows is apalling atm, and dont fit anywhere into the currebt meta. please slightly buff speed and accuracy, I think they hit high enough. It's just speesd and accyract which let them down.

I used to boss with crossbows and full arma on emps-scape and that was my favorite way to boss and was pretty effective. Now doing that is stupid and a waste of supplies and time because there are so many better ways. Completely agree.

So just add accuracy bonuses to bolts ( like iron gives +3, mithril +10, addy +15, rune +20,..)

Also (e) effect is freakin random... sometimes take 30 shots that 1st one appears (really annoying when u try to poison smth)

Diamond (e) were worth it before the def of bosses got decreased.

i'd like to see a buff on effect proc chance of (e) bolts, as the only thing you use a crossbow for is.. BOLTS (e) effects, so a buff in attack speed is not needed here.

if thats the case, a difference in base bolts stats would be also nice too. (might wanna remove make-able emerald bolts on mithril bolts then, as everyone would make them on adamant bolts obvious.) https://emps-world.net/wiki/Bolts

Also, if the base stats are buffed, you should think about buffing the lower level effects just a bit more, as rune>mithril, so basically it doesnt have more chance to, for instance,heal through onyx bolts (e) then doing poison damage through emerald bolts (e).
