Final Project - 1st Term End

In architecture we are taught to not just design the building, but to consider every aspect of the building, from how the circulation in the building will go to where is best to place the toilets. In my final project for this term I had to design an 8-storeys university library building with plenty of study space, carrels, staff zone with extra security, and so on. After 6 weeks of work this is the final design I came up with.













It's really much more to show behind these final renderings, sketches, diagrams and much much more.. but this is the nice part, where I get to show the final design concept. xD

Bored you enough, hope you like it :)

btw.. finally got my grade too and it's a pass. Cya in 2nd term xD

An architect has to consider interiors, too.

I can't possibly design a study space for instance, without considering the circulation around it. Also how will that study space best be functional AND be as effective, in terms of space usage, as I can get. From that, I did my research and found out Herman Miller's clubhouse study spaces, and I used them for my design.

That is just an example on when an architect considers the space usage in a room. Esentially most of the biggest architects in history were recocnized as furniture designers, interior designers, as well as painters, writers and many more occupations. The more you broaden your horizon, the better your imagination works. :)
