I don't think it would be worthwhile opening World 3 up to players just for the suggestions that you have given. In the grand scheme of things, they are very minor and I don't see why we need a brand new world just for these features. You could have just suggested them to be introduced into the current game.

Personally I would keep things the way they are, World 3 is useful for testing and for Wiki members to collect information they need to keep the Wiki updated.
Further dividing the playerbase is also not a good idea, the 2 worlds we have now is already pushing it a bit and I wouldn't even be entirely against closing world 2.

Also, you should never be afraid to post your suggestions. No one will hold anything against you for suggesting something that they may disagree with We like to hear everyone's thoughts & suggestions so keep them coming.

The people who are interested in running/maintaining their own clans are already doing so. If the Emps-World CC is disbanded, someone will just make a General clanchat for everyone to join and it'll be exactly the same.
I like the idea of the whole community being connected and able to talk freely, you can have some interesting conversations with players who you would normally never speak to. Just because there's a few toxic players spoiling things briefly doesn't mean the entire chat should be removed.

It would be a nice feature if staff could assign ranks to the CC and allow certain trusted players to be able to kick from the Emps-World CC.

I don't think this will be too useful, it's better than nothing I suppose. Would rather see a rank below player mod that would have the ability to take care of stuff like this, but that's Martin's business not mine.

If clan chat ranks were introduced, a few players could be given the power to kick players from the clan chat, the same as staff members can. Kicking a player only temporarily removes them from the chat (its a minute long ban from the cc?) so its not a huge deal if it gets abused, however the abuser would obviously lose their rank. Any rule breakers in the cc can be removed until a member of staff is made aware of what is happening and can intervene.

I do spend a fair amount of time in the Emps-World cc, granted I don't always actively chat in it but I do often keep an eye on things.

I agree that new players should be thrown into a different CC other than the Emps-World one. At times the CC can be extremely toxic and it doesn't give a good impression for first time players. I'm not disputing the fact that the Emps-World CC can actually be a friendly place, but all it takes is for two people to clash and then a shitstorm ensues.

Believe it or not, the Emps-World player count has been steadily increasing over the past few months. This is something which has been discussed between Thomy and the staff team numerous times.

Emps-World is far from dead, we still receive frequent donations and new players are joining all the time. The game is still full of life and is regularly updated. You do not need to have hundreds of players online for you to enjoy yourself, play the content you like to play and make friends while doing it.

The problem you have is that you expect Emps to go back to having the 600-1000 players online that we had back in Scape times. The era of private servers is over, with old-school Runescape coming out it attracted many of the players who played private servers.

As previously said, Emps-World is far from dead. We are still growing and gaining new players. In regards to adverts, we've tried it before and it had very little effect. They are expensive and Thomy has a limited budget, his main priority is obviously going to be keeping the server online. It's up to him what he see's fit to spend the Emps budget on.

We appreciate your concern and will to make the server more popular, however starting a topic and being aggressive isn't going to help.

Going to lock the topic before it turns it any more of a flame war.

I actually started playing Emps-Scape when I was around 11 years old, on my first account "Dandan11" lol. I rarely played on this account, it was the first time I ever played anything like RuneScape and I was completely clueless. Used to spend all day fletching (u) bows and selling them to the general store thinking I was making bank.

I lived in Cyprus at the time along side Joshiee and a few other friends who also played Emps-Scape. Josh was mod at the time I believe and he was absolutely addicted to Emps. It was one of these other friends who actually owned the account CJkinsey6 originally. I believe he quit shortly after I started and gave his account to me in like 2010 and it's been mine ever since then. The first person I ever spoke to on this account was Adam (Deandam7) - me and him have remained good friends ever since.

Wasn't long before I was totally addicted to Emps. One of my favourite money making methods back in the day was camping cockatrices and collecting Jangerberries to sell to Helari (Hell Skyline) which weirdly enough turned into us becoming damn good friends.

I was first promoted by Safe Up Kid and Sergiu Boy, yeaaars ago now. Probably in like 2012 and I've been dipping in and out of the staff team ever since then . Made alot of my closest friends from being a moderator and it's genuinely been a pleasure every single day.

One of the fondest memories I have of Lars actually is when you decided you were too rich, you had like 400m over max cash and decided you didn't want it lmfao. You gave me it and paid for me to get 99 herblore and prayer which were super expensive at the time. Which resulted in myself and Safe Up Kid racing to 99 prayer - which I lost One of the nicest gestures anyone has done for me actually

I've seen a hell of a lot of people come and go from Emps in my time here, but honestly it's amazing that I've found friends that live thousands of miles away, that I would never have met otherwise and it's without a doubt one of the reasons I've stuck around for the 7/8 years I've been here.

I honestly have so many memories from Emps, barely even scratched the surface

While I would like to think we could trust a number of players with this power, ultimately it's not a great idea. All it takes is for one person to lose their temper and begin to abuse for it all to go wrong. Dealing with rule breakers is the job of the staff-team.
People PKing in Edgeville and staking in the duel arena seem to resort to flaming in retaliation rather than calling for a staff member or posting a report on the helpdesk - which in turn just results in a number of people flaming eachother constantly.

but flaming is a part of staking
and players stake while most players recommend them to not.

Newcomers won't get into pking if they get flamed at for being inexperienced or not wanting to fight someone.

well, then I have a simple solution for that. to reduce the amount of flame at PVP all that emps have to do is: give a player the ability to mute flamers at edj-pvp ONLY.
and I hope they pick the right person such as "bhaa 2" or "attacker21" and avoid flamers themselves without missioning anyone. the problem with these great pkers is that they quit and they play once or twice a month. need to mention putting a staff in pvp won't be helpful.
so three things if you will take this seriously:-
1) a player spend 75% of playing emps in pvp
2) a player who has respect to others and doesn't rage
3) avoid stakers
