General Discussion / Re: Corporeal Beast 2nd Form

The Salve Amulet does not work against the second form of the Corporal Beast. Eventhough it is an undead form, Corporal Beast isn't an undead.

Day of the Gatherer
50% Fishing, Cooking, Farming and Herblore experience.
30% chance of getting an extra herb or fish while Farming and Fishing

Anyways, I like this idea! Should motivate players to train a specific skill!

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Skilling outfits
« on: August 16, 2018, 06:59:03 am »
An idea just popped into my head.

What if these skilling outfits would be linked to the daily tasks? Like when you have completed, lets say 50, woodcutting tasks, you get one piece. This could either be random, or designated.

Thoughts?
I'd say too much rng involved, first you'd need rng to get the task and then the piece .
They were supposed to be hard to get in the first place. This way there's no rng involved while skilling, and making it a premium item for the hardened player.

But I agree with you, there shouldn't be another rng for the actual gaining of the item. Maybe a droptable like;

  • 25 completed tasks, hat
  • 50 completed tasks, boots
  • 75 completed tasks, top
  • 100 completed tasks, legs

I don't think it's needed. Slayer is one of those skills where you have to grind. If you're planning on doing 250m xp you know what you're getting yourself into.

« on: August 04, 2018, 02:09:07 pm »
To keep myself busy I decided to give myself a new goal after maxing. I'm going to collect all pets. This idea started when I got Nex baby drop. In this topic I'll share the progress, and might add some other goals as well.

Collected so far:

Baby Jad
Black dragon hatchling, which I already had.
Baby Nex, 151 kc
Minitrice, 1219 kc
Abyssal minion, 686 kc
Baby Kurask, 506 kc
Baby Corp, 28-29 kc

Up next:

Black dragon baby..

Somehow this happened..

Feedback / Re: Glacors.
« on: July 31, 2018, 03:02:04 pm »
To be fair, I don't think the Glacors need a combat nerf. They're fine late game content monsters. Although, it isn't rewarding enough to kill them.

Glacors could be given a weakness against fire and blood spells? Small accuracy/strength boost when hitting them with fire/blood spells.
This is a great idea. Will this boost also include elemental fire damage? I personally think it should since it's mostly killed by rangers.

Drop table really is trash, its waste of time and supplies to kill them for money-making.

Also killing minions instead leaving them alive is still faster since they have lower defence than glacor itself.
The droptable could be updated with some more useful skilling supplies (maybe instead of the herbs).

It is indeed easier to kill the minions first. It also lowers damage taken, because it makes switching easier imo.

6-doses instead of 4.
Ah, that should be a nice addition to the game! Should make life easier while bossing or pvping. Not sure how it should make the game more advanced though.

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: The gone set & others?
« on: July 15, 2018, 09:11:06 am »
I'm liking this idea, the armors are nice addition for either skillers, or people who just want to look fancy. Maybe it can also include a small added bonus when you've got the complete set? (like with the golden mining set).

I like the idea, and imo it should also include the group bosses. I wouldn't mind doing 40 nex at least, specially not with the given slayer bonusses.

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Donation shop
« on: June 20, 2018, 08:33:26 am »
A 'walking chest' pet has already been suggested many times, but since it is a part of summoning, it won't come ingame solely, let alone if at all.

As for the donator items, they might be a bit outdated, yes, but I believe that the double xp scrolls are now the best value for money these days. If you're looking for new items, you should go bossing.

A donator zone would sound nice to be honest, but with the current playerbase and activity I don't really think it's a necessary addition to the game. Imho the skilling is perfectly fine the way it is right now.

Suggestions & Ideas / Preset withdrawal
« on: June 09, 2018, 05:38:46 pm »
So.. I was thinking, wouldn't it be nice if we could have somekind of preset button within our bank, with which we can withdraw an entire inventory with one click.

This would be useful for pvm, pvp and skilling.

When pking, you usually use the same setup over and over again.
When grinding a boss, where you use the same inventory over and over again, you can just click on one button and have your inventory refilled, as long as you have enough of the required items in your bank ofcourse.
When skilling, e.g. smithing, it'd be way quicker if you don't have to 'withdraw x' all the time. Which makes it easier to melt many bars.

Thoughts?
