And yet you got around 1,5m exp for catching them.. 1,5m exp for 2hours is more than enough.
Even though i have nothing against more hunting spots i have to strongly disagree with everything that makes skilling even easier.

EDIT: And you should reconsider your trap spots as i constantly get more red chins than normal ones.
EDIT2: in 15 minutes i caught 80 red chins and 50 normal ones, that makes around 640 red and 400 normal ones for 2 hours work. And i wasn't even paying full attention to the game.
I think he's talking about how you can't catch Red chins w/o catching a lot of Normal chins. They should space them out more so that you only catch red chins
Either way it would make exp gain quicker.
Then drop exp rates a little bit to balance out the spacing.

Making it rare is pointless. It just gives people more incentives to sell items that are worth more than their actual value. This item is a tool, and that is all it is.

Wieldable tools were suggested a while back, I still agree with the suggestion.
But perhaps we should just update razor-backed kebbit's droplist and add the harpoon as a rare drop?
Barb-tailed harpoon comes from the Barb-tailed kebbit, not the razor-backed kebbit.

Title says it all. The Barb-tailed kebbit should be added into game w/ the Hunter skill and it should drop a Barb-tailed harpoon for fishing. This saves an extra inventory space and you can also deposit all w/o having to withdraw your harpoon again.

We're a bit spoiled, I mean our stats get refunded when we join the server..We start screaming and kicking when double exp is few hours >läte<, we suggest shit that makes skilling even more easy.

I mean at the moment it feels like this community is between something, behind is the past where we had hard exp rates little content and skilling in general was more one sided.Now the server is open to new fun skilling ideas, bug fixes and shit like that, we have double exp scrolls, goals and weekends. But feels like people forget where we came from and want to make the server easy as fuck exp rates wise, I mean I got like 1-2million exp making pots for myself to pk. Back in the day before farming it tooks months to even buy herbs.

Im not saying farming is bad and it ruined herblore, its fun and it made herblore even easier. Double exp helps the server out more than you can believe, its every week.Come on guys.
If we didn't have any of these xp boosts, skillz purez would prolly have 1.5b total xp right now.

The biggest cause of this would be, I say, the chance to save runes on cast. Many players do not realize staves do this, and still come out with about a third less runes needed. Ofcourse the increased xp gains also play 50% part because many players train on double xp. Compared to scape you only need ~35% of the runes to train magic.
Mary, the problem is that people have no incentives to do runecrafting because there are staves that make runes unnecessary, so therefore people are no longer interested in buying Rune essence, which leads to inflation of the price. By having a 'chance to save runes on cast' would only worsen the problem.

You need to figure out a way to 'sink' runes, i.e. take them out of the game, similar to how a gold sink takes GP out of the game. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold_sink

This would mean that players could maintain an experience increase when training w/o having to worry about them degrading. Perhaps raise their price in Castle Wars too.

Still 1-2k, still at least double your money with death runes. I'd say the ess mine is fine as it is. They've simply gone up due to the fact that people refuse to mine it, as there are better and more fun ways of earning money. The rune market isn't as alive as it was in scape simply due to the fact that magic is being used less.

Getting ess doesn't need to be made easier.

OT: you get 4 nature runes per rune ess, effectively still making a profit. What people usually do is superheat rune ess immediately into astrals at the rune ess mine, which is a small cause of the small supply of rune ess. However ofcourse you can still commission your regular noob to work ess for you :)
(emps world has a higher divided group of noobs-higher players than scape had due to the easier leveling and the high amount of veteran players, also lots of newer players adopted the annoying habit to beg at GE instead of work ess, both also causes for most low resource supplies)
You make 4x at lvl 99 though

Rune essence are so inflated, it's ridiculous. They are currently selling for 2-3K ea, yet Nature runes are less than 1K ea... please make the Rune essence mine easier, the price is way too damn high and nobody is mining there...

Will definitely consider essence pouches when the Runecrafting skill is getting a rework, thanks. I can promise a rework but in no way I can promise a date of the rework and how it will look like. I only know that the Runecrafting code is ancient and needs to be rewritten one day to get it implemented into the current skill system.

During the rework you should consider dropping the experience rates, too. They're way too fucking high. I got over 10K exp on a single trip of 26 Nature runes without double exp. That's absurd. Personally, I'm more interested in the runes I produce, not the experience.
