VI. SkillcapeI. Introduction:The fletching skill has various uses. It can be used to make bolts, arrows and bows. This skill is mainly log based, which means it works in a great combination with woodcutting. Although this seems very straight forward, fletching bolts, darts and arrows requires a lot more work.
II. Fletching Darts:Darts are fletched by using the desired dart tip with feathers. You can fletch up to 15 darts at once, but it gives the same XP as doing one at a time. Feathers are dropped by chickens, or can be bought for 1 coin each at Gerrant's Fishing Equipment store in Port Sarim. Dart tips are obtained from smithing them, thus requiring a certain smithing level varying on the type of dart. Below is a table of the level requirements to make each bolt tips, followed by the XP rates and level requirements of each dart.

normal trees. Firstly, you'll need to fletch arrow shafts from normal logs (won't work with any other log). This is done by using a knife with the log, and selecting
Arrow Shafts. A knife can be bought from any general store for 6 coins. Once you've done this, you will have 15 arrow shafts. Furthermore, you'll need to use feathers on the arrow shafts. Doing this will give you
headless arrows. To turn these headless arrows into actual arrows, you will have to smith arrowtips. This will also require a certain smithing level, varying on your desired type of arrow.

Fletching Bolts:Fletching bolts contains a few resources: unfinished bolts of different kinds, feathers, bolt tips and gem bolt tips. Bolts also require smithing, as you'll need to smith the unfinished bolts. Use feathers on the unfinished bolts to make them ready to use. If you'd like to make these bolts even furthermore powerful, you can enchant them. This can be done by using the appropriate enchanting spell in the normal spell book. Enchanting the bolts adds a special feature to each of them.

Fletching Bows:Bows can be fletched by using a knife on any desired log to make a shortbow (u) or longbow (u). With this item, you can string it and make a complete bow. Bows can be strung by using a bowstring. Bowstrings can be crafted using flax, which can be collected at the Flax field located directly south of the Camelot bank. To craft a bowstring, collect Flax from the Flax field and then head North-West to a small building located beside the graveyard. From there climb up to the second story of the building using the ladder, where you’ll find a spinning wheel. Spin the flax on the spinning wheel to create bowstring.

Skillcape:Once you've reached 99 fletching, you can buy the skillcape from King Percival, who is located in the White Knights Castle in Falador. The untrimmed fletching skillcape costs 158,593 coins, whilst the hood costs 55,507 coins. This cape can be trimmed by right-clicking on it and using it on King Percival.
Both capes:Special thanks to Plats (Ahrim Ghost) and Leo (Tgod Bro) for helping with the guide. Some credits go to Emps-Wiki, as I got some information from there.
