It's more about people not staying, regardless if they're new or not.
I remember when there was vote system added into the game, and I don't know why would you remove it.

Because it simply doesn't work.

If you check the Runelocus rsps list, there are maximum of 5 servers with more players than Emps has, the most active having around 400 player daily peaks. The second most active has 200 players if even that and the rest are in the same category as emps with 100-200 players. The most successful ones are pre-EOC servers. As long as majority of our player base is nostalgia QQ'ers, we'll have no chance of growing anywhere. The sponsored servers are even more dead than Emps is.

Voting will not achieve anything because people are no longer actively searching for private servers as they did 5-10 years ago because OSRS exists. It's a waste of resources.

Your information on the other servers is outdated by quite a lot. I'm not going to name the servers unless I'm specifically requested to (I believe it's against the rules to advertise like that) but there is one server peaking at slightly over 1k players, another two servers have well over 600 players at most times. There are quite a lot of servers that have far more players than Emps. Even some servers which basically have had no effort put into them whatsoever, simple downloads from RSPS downloads sections and instantly hosted - reaching over 50 players. That's the worrisome part about Emps right now, I feel like most of the staff has given up because the methods they're used to do not work anymore. Well, here's some news for you. Things change, try applying new methods..

You complain about the short PJ timer in 1v1 situations, but if the time would be changed to be longer then you'd complain about how the longer PJ timer would be inconvenient when teaming in single combat areas.

PKing is ''trash'' because all you do is complain that it's trash without giving any constructive feedback about how the timer should be changed. Less QQ, more actual feedback -> get your ideas noticed.

1. so when u hit ur opponent u can see xp drops of hit after u have done that hit. suggesting to make that xp drop appearing before u land ur hit on opponent. This would make comboing alot easier. If ur pvmer dont comment anything on this.
2. pls remove auto maging. Im not sure is it called auto maging but i gues u get what im trying to say. It makes people who cant brid think they can.
Haha. Gotta say I agree with you. Right now the only way to get kills by stacking bar/ags is by getting lucky. You basically barrage, pray to the gods for a 40+, and spec. If the xp drops appear before the actual damage you could decide to not spec when you realize the barrage will be low. Currently it's one giant rng fest where people stack whenever they can and just hope to get lucky, me included. Not saying you won't need luck after this change but at least you will know when to proceed. (Also xp is already rewarded before the damage, you can check this by hovering your mouse over the respective skill so it's not like it's a completely new feature)

On the auto maging. I don't really have a problem with autocasting but I do agree with you that switching between mage spells and for example a range weapons requires 0 skill because your staff remembers the spell. If you actually had to manually set the autocast everytime you equipped your staff this wouldn't be the case. Removing autocasting completely isn't needed imo.

Right now they:
- have almost the same accuracy as the hunters crossbow
- are very fast
- hit pretty damn high
- can be combined with a shield
- are tier 60

They make god bows completely obsolute as these have about the same dps + you have way more defence because of the shield. They also outdamage melee when in like t75-80 range armour vs t70-75 mele. They're just way too good.

How to fix?
-same speed
-still usable with shield
-still tier 60
-balance accuracy to that of other t60 weapons
-nerf damage

Its a good weapon for bossing, really good in the matter of fact. Wouldn't want it to change. Keep in mind you'll have to be pretty lucky to maxhit with the javelin, it's a powerful weapon no doubt, but it's accuracy can surely make one choose something else. Dbow can use a buff, no one ever uses it cause it's pretty bad atm.
Real tired of these pvm fanboys saying everything is fine and dandy because certain weapons work well for pvm. You know nothing and your argument is invalid.
