Hey guys,

I'm glad to finally announce the initial release of the Grand Exchange! It's been tested thoroughly in our test world 3 during the past few weeks. Please bear in mind that this is the first release and there may still be bugs (although it's unlikely). I still recommend not to sell your most expensive items in the next week through the GE system. The next update of the Grand Exchange will contain price margins, but we need some trading data to measure these!

Additionally, following things were changed:

• Pestle and Mortar is no longer deleted when using it.
• Mining received a new skill interface including ores and level requirements with item images.
• Clipping calculations for projectiles on larger monsters updated (larger than human size). Finding safespots should be more intuitive now.
• Hastas up to rune can now be poisoned.
• Poison effect now occurs more frequently. (Moved from 25% to 33%)
• Username validation checks added for account registration and donating.

EDIT bugfixes:

• Poisoned hastas now have bonuses.
• Poison is no longer applied by all melee weapons.
• GE duping bugfixes.

Basic layout for a referral system finished. Upon registrations new users WILL (not yet released!!) be able to enter a referral. The referral will receive various rewards depending on how many new users register because of them. I would like this system to be bullet proof. If you were to cheat on the referral system, how would you do it?

Hey guys,

Today I've changed the following:

• Untradeable items are no longer lost when dieing in a pvp fight. Due to the recent changes for defenders, fighter torso and void knight armours, this update is no longer needed. That also means, that you will no longer lose your salve amulets! You can now run back and pick them up within 4 minutes inside the wilderness.
• Hunting traps that fail to catch creatures now give you the trap item back.
• You can no longer shoot 2 arrows when only having 1 equipped. (darkbow and comp ogre)
• More bugged GE spots fixed.
• Grand Exchange clerks have been placed and are configured. The GE is NOT YET fully released, we're still testing it. This update is only finalizing the procedure.
• Grand Exchange search code updated. You should no longer find doubles of any items.
• Duel-Arena teleport now places you directly at the Duel-Arena and no longer 30 steps west of it.

Congratz Simonyoda3 for winning the first hunger games

Please read the topic very carefully!

After some testing we're happy to announce that the hunger games are gonna come to emps. This will be a survival/pvp based event in which 24 players can participate. I plan to host these on a monthly basis, date and time will be announced later. The games will mostly be a test of how well the players know and can travel around the wilderness, picking up resources they could use to gain an advantage. You'll enter with a set of tools so that you can gather materials and turn them into gear, the rest is entirely up to you. As for the prizes, the winning team will recieve 1b cash. Which will be split between the two if both are still alive.

Rules

• You are not allowed to leave the wilderness
• No using the teleporting obelisks inside the wilderness
• The last team or person alive will win the games
• You're allowed to kill everyone, including your teammates

There will be a total of 24 spots. You can enter as a team or alone, if you enter alone a random participant will be assigned to you. If you have participated in the round before the next one, priority will be given to others as access is kind of limited. To enter send a pm to this link, once you're a registered candidate you'll just have to wait until the next games start. You will pay the entry fee before entering the games.

Resolved Bug Reports / Game Crashes when I minimize window (opengl)

Whenever I minimize the game window when using the opengl client my game crashes. I like to browse reddit when I'm at GWD in a boss room so this kinda sucks for me whenever I accidentally do it. alt-tabbing does it too.

Anyways why i should deserve it is that I am an old player (since 2008) but lost few accaunts, Who came back on this tuesday and want to rebuild bank. Why i badly need tassys is because whenever i try to kill bosses i don't have great set to get kills and noone will share. OFC they say they will but yes... they don't.
If i rebuild my bank i want to help other and kill those pkrs who don't let new players to kill spectrals and so on...
I swear If i am lucky enough i dont use item on staking.

I've been doing pretty well staking lately so I figured I'd share the love a bit.

So, I always see people complaining that they cant afford the good armor sets, etc. Well, i'm here to change that.

Here's how this will play out. Each player who wants to enter sends me a message on the forums telling me why they deserve a bandos set. 24 hours from now, the entry will be closed. I will then go through my messages and pick the top 5 answers. I will post another topic and place the five I chose in a vote. Each player will then go vote for their best response. Whoever has the most votes after 24 hours will win first place. If your answer is one of the 5 I select, you are guaranteed something.
