Nice tutorial, Good job

but it's way too long
Thanks and well, sig making isn't a 5 minute thing..at least for me :/
Maybe it's easier to show a small part of every section that you apply to the signature? Kinda pointless watching you use the same brushstrokes for 2min, just show the start and then speed it up superfast to the next part of the video ;) Same for smudging, show a few strokes real time, then speed up really fast and show the rest in 5s or so.

I really like the tutorial, well done, and i'm sure lots of people are interested in it

General Discussion / Re: Emps is dying
« on: May 29, 2015, 12:51:00 pm »
I cannot see where is the relationship between the time and between the count of players , I can give you an example of other RSPS (IkovPS) , This RSPS has been online for less than 1 year , Today there are 2.5k players online everyday! ( You can check yourself by visiting its forum , cannot give any link because advertising isn't allowed here).

Three months ago I've seen it on the sponsored servers list in RuneLocus with a little count of players , Today I've been attracted and addicted to this RSPS because its count of players.
Honestly I blame Thomy for killing Emps , He isn't working well to advertise Emps , He just working on updates that will not help Emps to live , He is profiting from emps buy its donation , Isn't he supposed to advertise his rsps ? I think this is his job , This isn't our job to do.

Solution:
Here you go Thomy , This is the best way to survive your RSPS Before dying  :-\
The best way to survive Emps from dying is , To add it to the sponsored servers list in RuneLocus,MoparScape,RuneServer... etc.
besides , Its gladly to see GTL Vote System.

Almost didn't see this post. Thanks for your opinion, but I disagree on some things. I would question myself, if the server you mentioned, really has 2.5k people online. Please bear in mind that manipulating a number shown on the website isn't the most difficult thing to do. I'm impressed that it has such a large impact on a person's opinion. By seeing that, I might just add 500 players to our player counter. If that actually changes people's mood positively... wow.

Moreover, it's really frustrating when you bring in an suggestion that is just utter nonsense. No offense, but the mere thing you suggest is buying a sponsored spot on a toplist? Yeah well, what about finding a sponsored spot on a toplist that is actually for sale?

Also, you talk about it being my job to advertise the server? You're completely right there, nobody has ever said something else? I also don't remember that I never advertised the server? The only thing we stopped doing were toplists. Emps never had them and never will get them again.

I really appreciate criticism, but only if it actually has some value. And especially if you want to blame me for something...
Thomy , Lets talk downrightly , Has Emps-World reached over than 250 player ? NO!
Ehm, hello? We reached 600 even lol

A lot of people can confirm on that.

+ you can see the players active on forums in past 12 hours. That usually shows 500-600 players.
Huh ? Joking ?
Lets compare Emps with Ikov ,
Currently There are 2k of players are online at this moment in Ikov.
There are 500 players online in the past 720 minutes in Emps.
L00L !
Honestly guys , I have spent more than half hour on buying items on emps because its little count of players are online. It is really very annoying phenomenon I think :(.

If you hate Emps that much, take your childish ass back to the Ikov or whatever you prefer to play. We don't need you here. Could you please be useful for ONCE in your life. Let the people who enjoy playing Emps now enjoy it in the future as well.

kty

It's awesome but I would like to see smoother c4ds, like yeah you need sharpness in c4d for an effect but they are too sharp imo. :(
But then again it comes down what one likes and what he doesn't like.

It's a well made piece, no complaints.

I was evaluating every entry by specific criteria. Depth, lighting, flow and overall concept are the main things in signatures. Overall concept includes: Text/Render blending/effects/color scheme etc.

Kluke:
Lighting - Whole piece is way too bright, would love to see more contrasted version, to improve lighting on your designs, trying working more on reflections, light sources/effects, try to imagine how the light coming from a light source would be hitting the render.

Flow - All of the C4D's just seem to be thrown in there randomly without any effort on arranging them to work with focal. (please correct me if I'm wrong)

Depth - I can see some blurred BG parts, which is good in terms of depth, it helps to imagine what parts should be closer to an eye, which should be further.

Overall - Can't really see much of render blending, since those are just C4D effects on top of the focal, color scheme is also a bummer here, I mean the main focal (render) is blue and you used brown-ish effects and BG, however, I do like your idea to draw out Sonic's claws with C4D effects.

Sorry if I seem too harsh :/

If anyone else wants some feedback as provided ^ above, please let me know :)

Actually that wasn't harsh at all, thats how I like to be criticized, without sugar talking ;)
but I mean thats the thing, for you they may be not good as in the lighting or the C4D which btw isn't thrown randomly, also the color match between the C4D and the render itself was done on purpose, cuz its too easy to change it to a matching color but I did like it a bit different, cuz to me its too cliche to always match between the background and the render's colors ;)
but as people say, everyone got his own opinion :P and thanks again for the feedback, much appreciated!
