1) We dont have custom designer for capes anymore (bye Mary)
2) We didnt get a pvp-cape/store once the points came out, so what makes you believe we get it now once 100+ players have 300+ points
3) Staking is 10x more popular so why cant we get staking cape instead, yes staking is random but it has 10x more players then pking

Only way I see a point for pvp store atm is to introduce pvp world with city pking.That would mean that Thomy focuses his attention to one huge pvp-update rather that many smaller ones, and thats not going to happen even though I would like it.

I guess the point im trying to make is that pking cant be fixed with smaller updates, we either need a new system like a pvp-world or any large idea in general that gets a bigger attention from more players.
And smaller updates would just take time from Thomy he could spend on clues/whatever plans he has.

I was really hoping for pvp-store like a year ago myself, but theres a decline of pkers ever since and theres no point for it anymore imo.

/Btw Earl quit a year or so ago and has 1000 pk-points that he got in 3-4 days, so that really shows how fast the capes would become common/useless

Update Notes / Re: Updates - October 1st & 2nd 2016 - New Ways

Changes of October 2nd:
  • Auras are no longer usable in the wilderness and duel arena. They still work versus NPCs in the wilderness, in safe PK zones and in minigames. Moreover, newly started auras now contain 10,000 charges instead of 1,000. Yes, this change is big... but 1,000 charges just deplete way too fast.
  • Wings and auras are now always disabled in the duel arena. You can still wear the items, but they'll have 0 stats and no effect.
  • A bug was fixed where HP bar was wrongly shown when eating.
  • More healing feedback were added to special attacks, guthans, magicks and bolts.

Feedback / Statius / Vesta

Alright, so lately I have been using statius (nonc) to pvm, mostly bosses. And while I do bossing I see constantly that I am hitting allot of 0's and occasionally a 60 or a 20. I lose most of the kills to people wearing bandos / 3rd age / and even dragon armour. While I wear f cape, steads, str t, statius body and legs, bandos helm and bandos gloves. As to some opposing players that boss can wear d boots fury 3rd age armour (or bandos) no f cape and still out damage me by 100-200. When i use my z brew/s att/s def and piety and i get lucky i might get the drop, but after 1-2 kills i just do allot of 0's constantly. Looking at the stats i have almost twice the attack offense compared if i wear bcp and tassy instead of stat legs and body.I have asked around to some of my friends and they said that they see the same problem occuring with them while doing bossing/pvm'ing. Maybey its bad luck that I don't hit that freqeuntly, I am not sure but it seems a little bit odd. I kill 10 corporeal beasts, i lose 8 drops to a guy with 3rd age / dragon armour. I have used allot of weapons including ZS, elemental whip+arcane, anger mace and d hally but still see no difference. I am eager to hear your opinion about this below. Thank you for reading.

Hey guys,

First of all a Happy New Year from our side. This is the first update in 2016! :D

Following things have been updated:
  • You can now receive a Staff of light from Commander Zilyana instead of the dragon platebody parts. The Staff of light is a powerful new magic staff with a special activate effect! It requires level 75 magic to equip. It is the first staff to have a special attack!
  • You can now string a rabbit foot into a strung rabbit foot with 95 crafting. This amulet will help you obtain more crushed nests while woodcutting, and gives you luck during agility and thieving.
  • Tyras guard will warn you for the temptations of the Duel arena when you use his services.
  • You can now find Emps-Scape's old dragon girl healer at GE.
  • You can now use the ::guides and ::events command to go to their respective forum boards.
  • Crystal bow has received a description about it's special properties.
  • Infernal mages now drop hexcrests.
  • Basilisks now drop focus sights.
  • You can now combine a hexcrest, focus sight and a black mask with a slayer helm to receive a full slayer helm, with better slayer XP bonuses and stats. The full slayer helmet yields 15% more slayer xp per task and 15% damage and accuracy bonus versus task monsters. Black mask, hexcrest and focus sight also give damage bonus versus slayer task npcs. Black mask when fighting with melee, focus sight when fighting with range and hexcrest when fighting with magic. Creating a full slayer helmet requires 55 Crafting and 55 Slayer.
  • All skillcapes now have a hover box which tells you the requirements for them to be worn. This was also added to the combination capes.
  • The 2015 Christmas event has been disabled, Santa Claus is still at the Grand Exchange to thank everybody.
  • Guthix and Zaros wings are now available in the donator store.
  • Demon horns and tail are now available in the donator store.

Bugfixes and feedback changes:
  • The additional accuracy reduction when your enemy has a protection prayer has been removed in PvP situations. I'm sorry for the update, it yields way too much protection from everything.
  • Accuracy in PvP fights was slightly increased.
  • Automatic continued targeting when you switch equipped items is removed after considering feedback.
  • A possible fix for disconnecting players has been implemented. Please let us know if you still disconnect!
  • The first forms of Kalphite queen and Corporeal beast kills do no longer count for your kill log.
  • Fixes to the shop interface. Items will no longer disappear suddenly when scrolling.
  • Following bug disabled in the Duel arena.
  • You should no longer bug out when you change elevation levels in God wars dungeon
  • You should no longer enter different dialogues when you continue the dialogue of various npcs.
  • You're now able to cut down a fully grown willow tree.

Hey guys,

I got quite a lot stuff changed for today. Please take your time and read through it. Some changes are really important!

We're trying to make PvP more popular. The current combat system works perfectly fine for PvM, but the hits are just too high for PvP. We're therefore nerfing some strength bonuses of high level equipment. On the other hand we'll also decrease some monster's hitpoints so that PvM won't become more difficult. On top of that, we're buffing special attacks to make PvP more exciting!

Following things have been updated:
  • IMPORTANT: Untradeable items are lost during PvP fights in the wilderness. However, if you die versus a WildyWyrm without having fought a player, you will still be able to pickup untradeable items (e.g. void knight armour). Simply said: If no other player gets your item drop in the wilderness, you can pickup your untradeables again, else you lose them. You can still pickup untradeable items everywhere and all the time outside the wilderness!
  • IMPORTANT: Teleports now block incoming hits. Whenever your teleport starts, you cannot die anymore. The only exception is if a teleblock successfully hits you during your teleport animation. That will still cancel your teleport.
  • Thrown equipment and karil's crossbow are now 0.5 seconds faster.
  • An important bug was fixed which caused the (e) bolts effect occur with a 12.5% chance rather than 25% which was always intended to be.
  • A sound bug was fixed where it would only play on full volume, although it's far away.
  • Following monster's hitpoints were changed: (from --> to)

  • Amulet of str (t), amulet of magic (t) and amulet of ranging strength bonus lowered from 15 to 12.
  • Culinaromancer gloves nerfed (Barrow, dragon, rune, ... gloves). Barrow gloves now give +6 str in all combat styles. Dragon gloves give +5 and rune gloves +4.
  • Bandos, Armadyl and battle robes strength bonuses nerfed. Chest and legs now give +4 strength bonus. Boots and helm/hood give +3 strength bonus.
  • Dragonfire shield strength bonus nerfed. It now gives +4.
  • Fighter torso strength bonus nerfed. It now gives +4.
  • Third age armours buffed. Every armour piece now gives +1 strength bonus. Chest and legs give +2 strength bonus.
  • Ancient armours strength bonus nerfed (vesta, statius, zuriel, morrigan): Chest and legs now give +8 strength, helm +4 strength.
  • Your equipment screen now shows bonuses for prayers and void knight armour. These bonuses are no longer invisible to you:
  • Due to the strength bonus changes, we're buffing some special attacks: (from --> to)
    • Dragon dagger: 95% --> 105%
    • Vesta longsword: 125% --> 135%
    • Vesta spear: 130% --> 145%
    • Statius warhammer: 110% --> 130%
    • Morrigan javelin & throwing axe: 125% --> 135%
    • AGS: 120% --> 131.25%
    • SGS, ZGS, BGS: 110% --> 125%
    • Seercull: 110% --> 115%
    • Magic shortbow: 85% --> 100%
    • Saradomin sword: 100% --> 110%
    • Dragon claws: 105% --> 110%
    • Dragon 2h sword: 115% --> 125%
    • Granite maul: 95% --> 105%
    • Abyssal whip: 100% --> 110%
  • God bow arrows now give equal Range strength bonus as Dragon arrows. God arrows special effect buffed, it now hits 1-5 instead of 1-4.
  • Vambraces now give Ranged strength bonus.
  • Dragon bolts (e) special effect buffed. It now does up to 25 damage (it did 20 before).
  • Onyx bolts (e) special effect changed. It now hits up to 25 damage and heals you for 20% of your hit.
  • Darkbow attack speed reduced to 4.5 seconds down from 7 seconds.
  • Vesta spear now does 90% of its special attack immediately (used to be 70%). The remaining 10% appear half a second later as 2 separated hits.
  • Spear and staff attack/block animations updated.
  • Revenants nerfed. They now hit 10 less and more 0s.
  • God capes are no longer being dropped by any monster (zamorak, saradomin and guthix cape). They will be re-added when they've become rarer.

I've also updated the client's ::multicore command. Please check it out and tell me by how much your fps rate increases! (::fpson / ::fpsoff)

Last but not least some information for the GE. As you all know, the Grand Exchange isn't an easy system. We've been testing it during the last few days to ensure that we find all possible bugs. So far, we've already found and successfully a duping bug. I hope you understand, that I can't release the GE without knowing for sure, that it doesn't contain any major issues! That's why it takes so long to get it into the live game.

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: PVP titles+New cape and rare :)

I actually really like the idea of player titles; they could be used in order to get certain things slightly more active. An example would be unlocking the "Pest" title for winning 100 games of pest-control, another example could be a title for defeating Jad.

For the veteran cape, I would love to see that added in-game, the problem is we do not have registered dates on accounts (not sure if this system is added for the newer accounts created, but not for the older accounts). I have been thinking of a few ways to "prove" an account is old however the solution always comes with a few flaws.

Lastly, the Rainbow partyhat. Although this would be easy to add I personally think that Emps-World should stay away from adding a lot of different custom items. The recolours are fine and the wings are suitable as Emps-Scape had them before, I'm always happy to see change but adding too many customs will put a few players off the game.

TL;DR; Titles: great idea, Veteran cape: Cape me up baby!, Rainbow partyhat: too many custom items! :)

What is Emps-Kit?

Emps-Kit is a calculator which holds information about all of the skill experience rates in Emps-World. This means that you no longer have to find the experience and calculate yourself. The calculator is very simple but is very useful at the same time. The calculator has been designed by Il Pk I using information from the Emps-World Wiki.

When does Emps-Kit get updated?

Emps-Kit is an on-going project, it will never be finished as the experience rates change all the time. When the experience rates change I will be updating them, however this might not happen instantly. When you download Emps-Kit you will be able to see the current version near the bottom, this will tell you if the calculator is up to date, or out of date. Emps-Kit will NOT automatically update, you will have to do this yourself, the current version will simply alert you.

Where can I download Emps-Kit?

The main download link for the Emps-Kit will be located here. However this link will not always stay the same as when I update the calculator I will have to re-upload it. Therefore if you were thinking of bookmarking the link I would recommend bookmarking this topic instead so you can find the link with much more ease. Please note that Emps-Kit is a .exe file, this means that websites do not often allow these to be uploaded, I have bypassed this by storing it inside a .rar file (you can extract it using WinRAR).
