Update Notes / Updates 11/06/2015 - New player benefits

Hey guys,

Following things were added:

• Ice giants have been added again to the Port Sarim dungeon.
• Some fountain models were updated.
• Some ice giants, ice spiders and ice warriors were added to the Neitiznot island (the area south of frost dragons).
• Ice spiders are no longer aggressive.
• You're now able to shoot over rockslides.
• More ice giants, ice spiders and ice warriors have been placed in north-western wilderness.
• Trees in north-western wilderness can now be cut.
• 4 rune rocks have been added to the northern part of the wilderness. (directly west of the wildywyrm near mage arena)
• Several skeletons are now wandering through the northern parts of the wilderness.
• More bugfixes when reconnecting to the game.
• Vengeance and vengeance other can now be used while walking.
• New accounts now have 24 hour of double XP activated. We don't know yet if we keep this forever, but it surely makes the beginning of Emps-World more enjoyable!
• I've increased the amount of items new accounts get. New players will find themselves with more runes, arrows, trouts and cash.
• New players automatically join the 'Assistance' clan chat.
• The 'Thomy' clan chat was renamed to 'Emps-World'.
• The fish monger now sells tunas and his stocks have been increased.
• A bug was fixed that cancelled all kinds teleports, most commonly happening with teletabs.

On a side-note: I've started working on the Grand Exchange again and we're currently testing it in world 3. I can't say when it will be ready, but I'm continuing the work on it.

To get Event points: go like emps page on facebook, post a comment. Make 20+ fake facebook account. Then like your own comments. There you got 20Ep.

On topic: I strongly agree that all players should be able to get event points beside getting the most liked comment on facebook.
 
Maybe most xp gain in a day will receive one Event point?
Bug reporter gets 1 Event point per legitment bug report?
Players who participate in mini game ing gets 1 EP per 5 game play?(need some kind of tracker)
Done 3 slayer tasks in a row will receive 1 Ep?

{Idk if giving points to what i said will still consider as Event point but getting Ep through facebook is not either  }

I actually agree with Monster333. It's really hard to get Vote Points nowadays.

I'm sure ep is not Vote Point >_>

They are talking about the same points I guess  . I do agree about the fact that it is hard to get those points these days. Maybe from something like Achievement Diaries like OSRS has. I would really like to do those.

Emps world is essentially emps-scape continued. It started as what emps-scape was in it's final days and development was continued. Since then we've had a large amount of updates. Change is needed to keep people playing, I get that some are afraid they won't get to do what they want to do because of the updates, but that doesn't change the fact that a good part of our playerbase is simply bored.

If you want to know things that changed I can recommend a few things:

• Checking out all the updates
• Checking the wiki
• Checking the guides section
