Hey guys,

The update today mainly consists of bugfixes, which aren't listed. Special thanks to everybody who's reported bugs in our Bug Reports section! I'm really happy that you're helping me out to find these bugs. :)

Following things have been changed:
  • Opening your bank no longer switches to your general tab automatically.
  • Kill logs aren't quite ready yet, but I can already show you a screenshot of how they're going to look like:

    I expect them to be released by next week. We're also planning to have Hiscores for boss monster kills. The kill log system will monitor every monster kill, even chickens! ;)

so my client wont work with classic anymore.. it just says "preparing game engine.." and it wont start.. it worked today, but suddenly started lagging and then i restarted client and it wouldnt any more.. here is a screenshot http://imgur.com/tMZP4Cy i tried waiting like 10 minutes..

This list gets updated at any time, and there are probably some things in there that have been suggested before. Please reply with a short summary and (possibly, not necessary) topic link. Not all suggestions will be added, only if they're within reason.


Italic = Lots of work


One-minute changes:
  • Reduce team-cape prizes to 1,101 gp instead of 11,101 gp
  • Change the wheat field near moss giants/GE to a flax field.
  • Open up the shortcut between black dragons barbarian dungeon (upstairs) to catherby beach, requiring 80 agility.
  • Make zaff in varrock fill your containers again when you talk to him with empty containers (vials/watercans).
  • Make stringing a whole inventory of amulets automatic instead of clicking each individual amulet (make-x) or make the lunar spell responsible for this function working
  • Add an orb timer when your wilderness skull disappears.
  • Special attack bar cooldown timer orb (toggle, shows your current percentage without having to switch to combat tab to see it)
  • Change dragon whip colours slightly to identify difference with abyssal whip.
Skills
  • Thieving: Decreased chance on detection for pickpocketing if your weight is very low, with extra bonuses under 0.0kg.
  • Smithing: Open a smelting interface of various bars when you click the furnace instead of current retard response of 'you have to use this bar on the furnace' (also for clicking on an anvil).
  • Magic lunar spellbook: Cure disease brings dead herbs back to life.
  • Magic lunar spellbook: NPC contact to assign you a new slayer task, change your spellbook, etc.
  • Magic lunar spellbook: Boost potion share to be working and share your boosted stats.
  • Magic lunar spellbook: Make energy transfer available.
  • Firemaking: Bonfires.
  • Herblore: Skill potions for mining smithing farming cooking woodcutting thieving agility.
  • Farming: Limpwurt seeds and maybe white berries/potato cactus/snape grass(?) too.
  • Hunter: Implings and impling minigame (poro poro).
  • Woodcutting/Firemaking: Evil tree distraction and diversion with inferno adze and xp lamps as rewards. Make the xp worth doing the distraction rather than grinding wc/fm.
  • Woodcutting: Add birds' nests to yew and magic trees, providing (rare) uncuts,  rings & (rare) seeds and the ability to crush the nests with a pestle and mortar for herblore.


Gameplay
  • Ring of wealth doubles 1 out of 10 monster drops (like the slayer masks in rs3). 100 charges, 1 charge per kill. No worries, this is just a 1/5000th chance to get a very rare drop twice!
  • Use the dungeoneering resource dungeons as special spots for active members accessable, to get more blue/black dragons/more mining rocks, karamja hunting spots (at lesser demons volcano dung), etc etc.
  • PK cape (http://i.imgur.com/3IAHjTq.png) at 1000 points? The herman caranos guy in edgeville could hand out the cape to players for the same price/bonuses as a skillcape. PvP medal tiers for certain pvp point ranks.
  • Ape atoll teleport available for members, with ape temple training spot + altar for praying. Dragon weapons shop (high prices, 150k), new agility course, tunnel with multitarget (get monkey amulet from agility arena to tp there directly), hunter jungle areas.
  • Wieldable tools, like harpoon and knife, saves one inventory space and you can easily bank your inventories without forgetting your tool.
  • Daily login rewards where you can earn Event Points for each daily task completed per day (https://emps-world.net/forum/index.php?topic=12288.0)


NPCs
  • Desert strykewyrms (requires fire cape to survive/damage)
  • Add Stronghold of Safety (cockroach dungeon between barb and edge) more content for lower levels. You can access it throughout the house/prison or the crack in the ground.
  • Add minotaurs somewhere close to barbarian (stronghold of safety? ^), fairly easy npc, drops lots of arrows to make low level ranging more accessable.


Game UI
  • Quick prayers
  • Server time on minimap
  • Orange/white hp bar (new sprites) for every overflow of hp points over your hp level for identification of hp overflow in pvp/wildy (spectral spirit shield/s brews).
  • Fullscreen mode
  • A physical model of a 'blackboard' ingame near the GE that links the player to the market board when clicking on it. Same for a ' highscores board', links you to highscores .
  • Overall new clan system with ranks and proper bans.
  • Lootshare for clan members and clan chat announcement upon receiving a drop of a value over 100k (or a drop with rarity below 1%, probably easier to determine).

Forum/site/client
  • Your overall rank on a certain skill on highscores on player specific highscore page.
  • Link to pricelist on forums at your account management on the main site, or a pricelist embedded in the site like we had before.
  • Donator forum user bar for a month/permanently? After you donated 3.5€ on the site (not if you have active membership ingame, only for 'real' donators)
  • BBcode for spoilers
  • Integrated GE prices on the main page.

Hello players! Here are the updates for Sunday 1st March, with quite some interesting changes, gameplay improvements and lots of bugfixes!

  • The menu on the homepage was updated. There are a lot of quick-links now, for instance: http://emps-world.net/account#donate
  • The Lunar spellbook is now available to all players! You can talk to Meteora in a house next to the southern wall of Falador to get the spellbook, including the Vengeance spell. Meteora will also remain at Al-Kharid, so members can switch a bit quicker if they want to (and yes she's magical enough to be at 2 spots at once!).
  • You will no longer be able to attack a player that is fighting an NPC in a single combat zone in the Wilderness anymore. This is mostly a change regarding the situation at the Spectrals.
  • Farming has received an update! You will now see what herb you planted, and everytime a herb or tree is grown, this is notified to you, including the name of the plant and the place it's being grown.
  • Hunter traps should no longer disappear when spamclicking them to set the trap again.
  • Hunter levels are now a requirement for milestone capes.
  • Correct Hunter icons added for XP gain and level up.
  • Maple saplings no longer disappear when planted.
  • All noting problems regarding trimmed wizard robes and mahogany logs should be fixed now. Please deposit and withdraw (or vice versa) to fix your issues with them! If you still have problems with them, contact a staff member to hand in the bugged item(s).
  • Disappearing (degrading) items will no longer visually display when wearing them during the depletion.
  • Picking up items is back to its old speed.
  • XP gains in the thousands are now properly displayed on the fixed screen modus.
  • Ice wyrm dungeon entrance has been moved a bit to prevent getting stuck in it. If you still do, please report the bug.
  • PM bug: The issue with not being able to pm or add a friend when standing still sometimes has been fixed.
  • You can now note hastas and hastas now have a gold value for selling and alching.
  • You can now note dragon hatchets.
  • Old lingering Clan wars rewards, blue logs and broodoo shields have been removed. You will not get a refund if you bought these off other players.
  • Anger weapons now properly display your max hit against bigger monsters.
  • Blood spells now properly work as indicated.
  • While wearing water staves you will now properly see what kind of water spells are available to you (if you have the rest of the required runes).

Hello.

Sometime, when your herbs need to be watered, you can't water them with watering can. 
This Patch needs to be watered! - but your watering can doesn't work.

Hunter!
The hunter skill can be started just west of the grand exchange area, north of the moss giants. The hunter expert there sells most of the equipment you will need, anything else is obtained through monster drops or similar. You can find the official guide here.
