That's what private servers are for though? So people can not play the game they loved not playing now that Runescape is punishing people who don't play themselves (or so I've heard).

To a certain extend, i agree. But I still think there is a clear difference between fair servers and completely outlawed servers
either or, i believe the punishments for botting are fairly minor compared to things like threatening and scamming

When some random dipshit starts talking shit in csgo for me buying 2nd sniper
I abandoned the game only to see them lose B site retake 4v4, enemies had 4 snipers (should be impossible to lose)

It's the shit ass servers. Literally everyone in my city occasionally freezing when catching pokemons. For me it happens the most with Pidgeys for some reason lol
