At the low voltage, they did not detect formaldehyde. But at the high voltage, they found some. Formaldehyde is, indeed, a known carcinogen, which also exists, among hundreds of other toxic chemicals and dozens of cancer-causing agents, in combustible cigarettes. The authors concluded that someone who was a heavy user of a vaporizer at the high voltage was five to 15 times more likely to get cancer than a longtime smoker.

I assume everyone is using high voltage to get that nice vapor

i'll stick to hashish and cigs :)

There is no scientific evidence that e-cigs increase risks for cancer or any other disease.

Because they have been barely researched to begin with.

I'm just happy that i never tried smoking and never will.

It will lead to cancer after all. What's the point?

Indeed I can, but I don't want to. After all, I got one life to live so I live it the way I want. Everybody dies at some point.

Agree @ everyone dies at some point, but cancer does bring death much earlier, so not all people die too early.
