Upgraded Bandos Armour

I upgraded Bandos armour with the artefact and equipped it but it doesn't work on female character. tried with male but that does work.

I cannot identify any problem. Mind describing the issue in more detail and showing a screenshot of what is wrong?

There is a gold stripe on the icon on the male character and on the item in inventory but not on the female character. not sure why that would be?
