(2). 7y+29=5x

(1). -2x+41=7y
(2). 7y+29=5x

2 is also equal to 29-5x=-7y, so call this the new (2)

adding (1) to (2) we get

(-2x+41)+(29-5x)=(7y-7y)

-7x+70=10
x=10

plugging in x=10 into equation 1.

-2*10+41=7y
41-20=7y
21=7y
y=3

so solution is x=10, y=3
