if you watch anime a lot you've probably watched those but here's what I have when it comes to comedy:
Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! (basically about a girl who thinks she has superpowers as an 11th grader and keeps following this guy around who had the same problem but when he was younger)
Hataraku Maou-sama!:the heroes defeat the devil king but he manages to run away into the human world where he's forced to work as a part timer in a fast food shop
Hoozuki no Reitetsu: comedy depicting the underworld in japan being run like a company (REALLY liked that one)
Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai:was too lazy to do this myself so I copy and pasted one

for some more serious stuff there's
ergo proxy : mankind lives in isolated domes due to contamination in the outside world, with robots that help them do their stuff and what not , the protagonist comes into contact with a monster called "proxy" and then stuff happens
kokoro connect: five friends in a highschool start encountering lots of weird phenomena like switching bodies etc.. which breaks apart their friendship
tokyo ghoul:( laziness at it's best)
The suspense horror/dark fantasy story is set in Tokyo, which is haunted by mysterious "ghouls" who are devouring humans. People are gripped by the fear of these ghouls whose identities are masked in mystery. An ordinary college student named Kaneki encounters Rize, a girl who is an avid reader like him, at the café he frequents. Little does he realize that his fate will change overnight.
