I'm pretty sure that the ball would have to spin much faster to generate power sufficiently.

Well, if you would enscale it, and reduce the friction, the power which will be generated will increase exponentially, if I'm right. The weight will be larger, which means there will be more gravity applied to the ball. And this will cause the ball to tumble faster.

You will always need some kind of resistance or friction to be able to charge up power, and resistance/friction will lead to the device slowing down to a stop if it does not have an external source of keeping it up ;)

It'll slow down eventually, just like a pendulum clock.
Perhaps if you can modify the design a certain way that the gravity is larger or as large as the friction, it might be possible to generate power.

If the issue is POWER, already got the sun. It's practically Infinite, as when it ends, we kinda end too.

This is mega-useless in comparison.

Only if the object would fall infinitely, and it doesnt as it technically both falls and rises with the same power, making netto force zero -> leaves no room to use any remaining force for powering the dynamo without slowing it down because netto power would fall below 0.

You'd understand if/when you get advanced Mechanical Physics ;)
