Onyx and dragon bolts (e)
« on: February 12, 2016, 08:55:11 pm »
Wiki isn't very specific. How is the extra damage from both bolt effects calculated and how much do onyx bolts heal?

The dragon bolts have a 33% chance to deal additional damage. So if you hit 40 and the additional damage is 20, you hit 60.
The onyx bolts have a 33% chance to heal. So if you deal 25 damage, there's 33% chance that you are healed by 25.
Is it clear now?

It doesn't say the % you deal extra damage or the % you heal anywhere, just the chance the effect procs.

Actually, aren't Dragon Bolts (e)'s special supposed to be dragon fire? So if you don't use Antifire Potions or an antidragon shield/dragonfire shield, it'd mean that you could get hit around 70s? Although, for the damages dealt and the Onyx Bolts (e), as Charr said, no percentage is mentioned anywhere.

I obviously know this. If you can't answer my questions then please don't comment.

0nyx bolts should heal quarter and they hit up to the regular hit which is 53 + 20 from the effect, resulting in a max hit of 73.

Dragon bolts hit 53 + 25, resulting in a max hit on 78, the extra hit from both bolts is completely random.

It's our decisions that define us

Onyx bolts have a chance to hit between 10-20 extra, healing 20% of the total hit including the additional hit.
Dragon e bolts have a chance to hit between 10-25 extra, completely negated by the enemy if he has ANY protection from dragonfire.

The chance to trigger any special effect from an e bolt is 20%
