Apparently a lot of people are struggling with the beginning of construction. I thought I'd write out a short step by step guide on the early levels.

Banker's note
The first thing you should go for is a banker's note, this is a working bank booth you can build in the clock space in a bedroom. It's important if you want to shorten your trips to the bank. This can be done in one inventory.

You will need the following:

• Coins (100k should be more than enough)
• A hammer (can be bought from sawmill operator)
• 23 iron nails
• 15 planks
• 4 oak planks
• 4 limestone bricks (can be bought from the stonemason in the house next to the bank rimmington)
• Scrolls of double exp and an active membership (the bonus exp is too good to not have)

Do this in order:

• Enter your house with all the items in your inventory
• Add a parlour north of the garden your house automatically comes with
• Build two crude wooden chairs in the chair spaces
• Add a garden south of your existing garden, and then a kitchen east of the garden you just built
• Build a wooden shelf in the shelf space, and a wooden larder in the larder space
• Build a bedroom north of the kitchen
• Build a banker's note in the clock space

If you do all of this you will be 22 construction and have a banker's note in the right position for training.

Training to 99
There are a lot of ways to get to 99. I'm suggesting you take this route since it's the least complicated and quite cheap.

• Replace your kitchen with a dining room
• Build oak dining tables until 31 (3 tables)
• Build carved oak tables until 38 (4 tables)
  You will need 36 oak planks
• Build teak tables until 52 (19 tables)
  You will need 76 teak planks
• Build mahogany tables until 99 (1165 tables)
  You will need 6990 mahogany planks
