In this guide, I will explain to you how to defeat Jad easily, and i'm also going to show you how easy the progress will be.
Before stepping into Jads' cave you have to know few necessary things that will be very helpful for your quest in defeating Jad.
introduction:The Jad minigame is a solo minigame, that means that you have to do this minigame without getting any help from other players in the game. Its also safe minigame, this means that all your items are safe incase of death.
There are 63 rounds where you have to finish to win the game. In each round you will face diffrent kind of monsters/creatures. Each round you pass is going to be harder than the previous round.
The ultimate prize for finishing all the 63 rounds without dying is 75k tokkuls and a
Fire cape. Currently the best cape in Emps-World.
You can find the Jad minigame inside of the Obisdian caves. There are two ways where you can reach the Obisdian caves:
- You can directly teleport to the Obsidian caves by using a Ring of duelling
- You can also reach it by taking a boat from port Sarim for a fee of 30 Coins to Karamja and then walk westwards to the Karamja volcano. Once you reach the volcano you have to climb down a rock and then enter the entrance to the Obsidian caves.
Recommended gear:To finish all 63 waves, you should use
Range. you can use safe spots to prevent most mele attacks.
Its recommended that your range and defense levels are above level 80, also 50+ prayer level.
Recommended range gear:
1) Third-age range armour
2) Void knight range armour
3) Armadyl armour
Recommended equipment:
1) Ring of stone, Archers' ring
2) Ranger boots
3) Third-age vambraces/Barrow gloves
4) Amulet of glory (t)/Amulet of fury
5) Max cape/Ava's accumulator
Recommended weapons:
1) Seercull with Dragon arrows
2) Magic comp bow with Dragon arrows
3) Zamorak bow or Saradomin bow with Zamorak or Saradomin arrows
4) Hunters' crossbow with Runite bolts, preferably tipped with Ruby (e), Dragon (e) or Onyx (e)
Recommended inventory:
1) 2-4 Ranging potions
2) 2-4 Saradomin brews
3) Rest filled with Prayer potions or Super restore potions
You don't need any food for healing because if you be careful enough and use the right prayers all the time, you will barely recive any damage.
For back up incase you recieved any damage, the saradomin brew can provide 16HP so it will not be a problem.
The minigame:Once you set up your gear and get fully ready, take your way to enterance which is located north of the banker.
Once you enter the minigame, search for a safe spot and stay there as much as you can.
As a recommendation you should first kill Tz-kih because in every hit you recieve from it, your prayer level get drained by 3 points.
About Jad:Jad attacks with all three combat skills and can hit up to 85 or more. You would only have a chance of beating Jad if you use range. Jad will only be able to hit you with magic and range attacks. You should carefully watch Jad as he's going to attack: If he prances, he will use a magic attack and you should put your magic protection prayers on.
If he tramples with his front feet on the ground he will use a range attack and you should put your range prayers on.
If you do this well without many mistakes, you will take minimum damage. Only then you will be able to defeat Jad and win the minigame!
