Hello dear Emps-World players!

This is the official ' Guide making ' guide, which contains all the information you need to do an easy and fast guide in the future.
Just to mention, I will structure the guide into chapters!

Chapter 1:  adding colors to the title & text
Let me explain why coloring is essential in any guide. Coloring your guide looks pleasing to your eyes. Who would want to read your guide if it just contains lots and lots of words? For people to actually start reading and finishing your guide without getting bored, good coloring skills are required. It improves the overall look of your guide and makes it more fun to read. Moreover, writing a guide requires patience since you have to spend some time thinking about the concept and the way you want to make it look.

Make the title of your heading BIG and COLOURED to STAND OUT
Use Red or Orange or ANY COLOUR to MAKE it STAND OUT
Example like my heading .


Chapter 2:

Make any IMPORTANT words HI-LIGHTED so they DON'T miss it.
Also HI-LIGHT the Steps/Paragraph like my ones.

Chapter 3:

Try putting FAQs at the end of your guides.
This will help people a lot more so they don't have to keep replying.

FAQ:

Q: Is Blue Bird awesome?
A: Of course.

Q: Is this the example for Step 3?
A: Yes it is.


Chapter 4:

Screenshots

1) press prt scrn

2) paste the image in paint
3) crop and save image
4) how to upload imgur.com
5) getting [IMG]


Another easy way to take quick screenshots (where you can customize the size) is by using the Snipping Tool that is available on Windows. Or you can download Gyazo or Lightshot, with an option to a fast internet upload.

Chapter 5:

Explain and write things to help them understand more.
Such as expand it.
State details and where the place is even if you put a Screenie up.


Chapter 6:

What not to do
Don't add smileys - it stuffs it up.

But and xD people don't mind.

Chapter 7:

DO NOT TRY ANY FANCY STUFF!

e.g. Hi this is Blue Bird
Bold is alright but only when IMPORTANT TEXT.


Chapter 8:
Don't use bright/light colors as they are difficult and painful to read.
e.g: Hi my name is Rami

Chapter 9:
At the end of all your guides put something like this:

your post is so colorful I need to clickdrag my mouse over your text to highlight it in blue, it's like im trying to drag my cursor over a warzone where 6 year olds were given 90 different crayons and  were instructed to draw an alphabet.

Some of the colors that you used in this topic have burnt my eyes ._.

I'd try to clarify avoiding the use of bright colors like these. I get what you're trying to point out with Steps 1 and 2, but colors like Yellow and Cyan just hurt the eyes to look at.
Nice guide either way.

You realize that the default forum theme is already pretty darn bright? I'd go with Navy, Orange, Maroon, Teal or Red as they aren't bright af but still stand out. I'd also only use 1-3 colors per guide. Navy might be a bit too dark on darker themes but the other 3 work fine on bright and dark ones.
