Hello everyone!
I decided to make a pure tutorial/guide, because when i see level 1 defence pures they just seem really boring, as melee pures usually have a granite maul or a dragon dagger and it has been so since 2011. Range pures usually have a dark bow, a crossbow or a magic shortbow. Now i'm not sayng this all sucks but i just want to bring some varieties and more epic combos you guys could pull off.
Let's start with some melee combos.
DClaw spec + granite maul spec makes for a quick deadly 5 hit combo.
After doing the combo, switch to a finish-off weapon like a dragon 2 hander or a battleaxe. A finish off is a strong weapon that can be used really quicly after a claw/gmaul spec, it really works. No, dragon 2 hander is not shit.
Also i tried out dragon dagger to granite maul, it's pretty good aswell.
I suggest you guys also try out dragon mace and longsword, they are damn cheap and they can bang 45+.
Now for some range + melee combos.
A pretty well known one is to shoot once with a comp ogre bow (still obtainable from the kbd) or a dark bow and then granite maul special twice.
Magic shortbow special attack to dragon dagger special attack is deadlier than you think.
Also, you can create a 3 hit combo with magic crossbow spec + crossbow shot. If your lucky, you can even have the special effect of the bolt, which makes it really useful.
Did you know if you have magic shortbow on 'rapid' then after a shot, you quickly switch to a strong melee weapon you can create a strong combo that way, using no specials. Of course you can use specials to make it even better of a combo. Those strong weapons can be :
D2h, D battleaxe, any godsword (if you are 75 attack) even a simple dragon scimitar.
