What are peoples thoughts when it comes to double XP weekends? I love them, I think they are awesome but, do people train certain skills while it is double XP or just keep playing as per normal or what? Also what would be some good, harder to train skills to train while it is double XP.

I don't care about it, I am a pker so it doesn't really matter for me

Yeah, i never liked double exp events either. I understand adding them after the server has been down for a while or something, but every weekend is a overkill.

I don't understand why people care so much about getting maxed, to be honest. Do you really ENJOY the GRIND? Are you against making the general gameplay of Emps less grindy and more fun? Go play some big MMORPG, they're full of grind. Training skills was never ''hard'', only time consuming.

Double xp weekends definitely have their impact on the server, but most people enjoy them so we keep them overall. Although i've vowed a couple times for just 1 weekend per month or two months, so they will be more valued by players and has a more positive effect on the eco

I think are happenign way too frequently. Right now it's pretty much pointless to skill during the week because you can do it twice as efficiently during the weekend. But I believe there is some sort of facebook thingy linked to it so if that actually attracts new players then I'm okay with it. However reducing the amount of double xp weekends to like 2 a month wouldn't hurt in my opinion.

yes i love it too! I only do skilling on the doubble xp except for fishing!

I trained my account to maxed with no double xp back in Scape.
Now every noob can get his lvl's easy 99 or even 200m xp.

I dislike this double xp every weekend, the HS are messy.

During double xp players normally have items stocked up to get some of the more expensive 99's knocked out at a cheaper price (crafting, prayer, smithing, etc.)
Double xp weekends are when the server has the most players online, everyone is looking forward to a double xp weekend after a long week.

Some smart skills to train during double xp would be smithing, thieving, and slayer as those skills have the lowest xp rate and tend to be some of the hardest skills to get to 99,

Skills is really easy to get 99, and to get maxed, but I don't think thats all about double xp.
Brawlers were added, pest control xp exchange. You can easily get 99 prayer in one day, combining brawlers and using pest control tickets on prayer xp.

Į trained my account to maxed with no double xp or brawlers back in Scape. It took me 1 week to get 99 farming playing 4 hours minimum daily,  now it takes less than 2 days to get 99, it's Really easy to get 99's nowadays. My opinion is to make double xp weekend only every other weekend as it was back in Scape ( 1 weekend - free membership,  next weekend - double xp)
