Third age has best defence but overall it sucks, what is its main reason? Bait?

Mainly because most of the other High-Tier Armors have Strength Bonuses. 3rd-Age just has Defense and Attack bonuses, but they're not impressively higher than something like Bandos/Armadyl/B-R.

It's meant to have the best defence bonus of all combat styles (melee,range, and magic).

3rd age melee Counters ranged + melee but is weak against magic attacks
3rd age range counters everything
3rd age mage counters melee but is weak to melee attacks + rangers

3rd age does have weak spots so its not overpowered, But it's a nice armor fashion-scape :D

Well considering 3rd age is a lot cheaper than bandos it's a great buy
