There's no ''I agree with rules'' thing when registering
« on: September 15, 2015, 01:58:54 pm »

So yeah, when registering to Emps, you never actually have to AGREE with the rules of the game and forums. This means, that whenever somebody says ''omg i got banned for nothing'', they are actually CORRECT, because they had never agreed to the rules because they never had to.

In case somebody doesn't understand what I mean, here's a picture of the registration screen of RS:

Mod abuse intensifies.

It should still be mentioned. If players never have to agree to the rules and they get banned nevertheless, they have every right to get unbanned. If a player intentionally ignores the rules after agreeing to them, then it's completely the player's fault that he did so.

That's why in Steam, for example, on some products you have to agree that there's no way to refund them.

By using the website you automatically agree to the ToS: https://emps-world.net/tos
check the footer

CBF checking but im pretty sure theres something in there that says 'we can do anything we want to ur access to the website'.

So what, they say that emps can do anything they want to deny your access, game rules or not. Even if ur unfairly banned you cant argue that lol. Ultimately access to the website is totally in control of the website and the owner can do whatever he wants to restrict it or otherwise, aslong as it regards the website and anything that comes from that website, including the client.

To include the game rules is kinda stupid, there's tons of loopholes and missing things in that topic, someone's bound to get banned for something that doesnt specifically get listed by those rules, then get mad that they got banned for something obviously prohibited and then get told it was up to the emps staff to decide, like we always have.

''If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.''

It is NOT stupid to include something that gets more players removed from the game daily than the things mentioned in ToS all together. YOU are stupid to even think like that.

I just thought it would be rather simple to add one line of text to the registration screen, but of course you had to start bitching about that as well. I'm glad Thomy doesn't share the same mentality about simple improvements like this.

Just to be clear: I'm not opposed to the idea, i'm just saying that there is a 'I agree with rules' system in place, it's just not that visible.

We must have one in emps-world even though it is useless.

I may not be the best, but I'm definitely not like the rest.

Do people really need a line of 'I agree to the rules' to validate them being banned?

In all honesty, if a person cares that much, sue Thomy. Doubt you'll get far.
