dragon hasta and abbysal whip have the same maxhit and same stats?

What's the big difference then?

Because of the way attack styles work.
Att training styles have an accuracy bonus, strength training styles have a strength bonus, defence training styles have a def bonus, and shared styles have a shared bonus.
The difference between whip and dhasta is that whip can't train str.

Even though it has +1 more of a max hit, it costs relatively more so I'd rather stick with a whip unless you want to train Strength and can afford it.
Saradomin sword is also good to train strength though, but only difference is 2 handed, the prices is about the same.

If you have Arcane, however, Hasta will be superior to Saradomin Sword.
