I did 99 magic on 5 accounts, but that was when turoths were agressive and you could multi barrage em. Doing magic on zombies is also kind of nerfed and useless. So, fire wave on giants?

I'd recommand to train by using Fire wave on giants.

Lunar spells (Dagga, Catherby tele, Stat spy)

I trained all of my combat stats to 99 simply by doing cryptic rats in the barrows tunnels.

You can just sit back and relax while your user autocasts away, and they hit probably a maximum of 4, and basically never hit.
Just get simple medium spells and use the normal spellbook, you'll save money, and you'll get at least 4m xp a day.

Why would that get nerfed.. it was still taking forever that way.
