Hi guys , i think everyone understand and see that server dies. I think problem is not old good emps anymore. Graphics are terrible either. New items sucks either. Does anyone miss old good graphics and packed content?

If the graphics were a problem then people wouldn't have joined in the first place. Getting back the old graphics won't suddenly get us players, it'll only stop these kind of threads. If you don't like the new content, simply don't use that content. Don't like ancient armours? Don't use them. Don't like corp? Don't kill it. Simple as that.

niga its not nostalgia, if you think about it 90% of arab population computer's are made between sand dunes. They can't run this game anymore.

In december 2007 jagex removed free trade and the wilderness. To this date this is still seen as one of the worst updates in runescape history and many players quit due to this. Runescape's decreasing playercount had nothing to do with it's graphics.

rs3 is a whole different game than rs2, and we are still rs2 and close enough to your 'old graphics'. The version we are in retains most of the nostalgic value while enabling us to create sooo much more content than what is possible with 317 models.

And even so, most of those that like nostalgia keep asking for more content. You cant keep the same game and try to keep it fun, you need new stuff

And downgrading the graphics would actually mean less content, because of bunch of unsupported stuff and shiet.

Do you remember when we had 500+ Old graphics? 150 MAX. now. with new. so old graphics is better x100 time.

A playercount is not solely dependant on graphics. Moreso on the content of the game, how long it has been running and if there have been issues that cause players to quit.

Considering the duel arena is broken at the moment it's logical our playercount has dropped. With the duping issue back in febuary before that and a pretty large amount of ddoses somewhat recently I'm not suprised at our playercount.

It's also logical that we haven't ever passed 500 players since emps world simply hasn't been up as long as emps world. Private servers have lost players in general due to OSRS, this is something that affects all private servers. Even ones with the same graphics as old emps.

Graphics are nearly the most irrelevant thing to a server's playercount. Plenty of people like old graphics, plenty of people like newer graphics. Servers keep players based on content, no matter how good a game looks you wouldn't play it if there was nothing to do. I don't know why that's so hard to understand.

soulsplit went from 3000 to 400 in the same time period and they never updated their graphics it was always 317
you cannot randomly make conclusions without proof...

You're somehow telling yourself that old platform was better which I can't argue with because that's your personal preference, but to say that it's guaranteed 500 players is complete bullshit and >plsdont.

I don't know how people don't understand this, you can easily quit if you want and nobody would blame you for anything. You're not a solider part of a 150 man group going behind enemy lines to save private Ryan (old platform). Bitch Ryan is dead, go home.
