What's up? So there we go..... according to the statistics emps-scape or how it is named now Emps-world is dying and dying very fast..... updaes dosen't bring a lot of people now, so maybe lets try something different?

It's not dying cause of it's name
It's because most people have grown up and have futures to work on.

Just give it couple of years until it comes back to its beak

Even the original server (Rune-scape) itself is losing players.

Thomy is trying his best to attract players' attention with the new updates.

Lots of us have played runescape/emps-scape for 5-10 years. There are very few games that have been able to stay popular for this long. WoW has the smallest player base it's ever had. Call of Duty has lost lots of its players. The only game i can think of that's still trending up that's been around for a while (10+ years) is Counterstrike, but that's because of eSports and youtubers. unfortunately emps-world is dying and it will continue to die, nothing anyone can do about it, the interest just isn't there.

As much as I love Emps and how much it has played a massive part of my childhood, I do prefer to play other games now. I will, however, log in from time to time and do a little bit of training and talk to some old friends but yeah.

There is nothing we can do.

im sure to a certain degree that it is dying but effort always pays off, so Thomy knows more than all of us what he should do, along with asking players to help him with suggestions and feedback which is greatly supporting the community itself

It's not dying, the old school players just aren't active anymore. I've saw the same thing when I returned a month of two back, but now I've realized the community, even though the player count is low, is still just as active, involved, and friendly as before. Regardless with the smaller player count it is harder to find mini-game players, Pkers, staker, etc. That is where it is suffering at. The player count has increased since I have returned and with the Elemental updates that Thomy has arranged for the near future is should bring new and some of the old community back also. I'm excited to see what this upcoming update has for us.
Just hang in their boss, it's just as enjoyable as before.

We cant expect players straight away. I only came across emps world one day out of the blue, slowly people will gather again.
But at this stage we just need to keep up what we are doing. Videos are the best way to gather people though.

The thing is, threads like these aren't helping anything. If you have ideas for new potential content, post in the suggestions and ideas section.

Also, look at the bigger picture: RuneScape and other private servers in general are dying. It would be a miracle if we suddenly reached 1k+ player peaks we used to have.
