Donating and getting the stuff

If I donate, would I get rare stuff or just the membership ticket?

You get a ticket which you can use to buy stuff from the donor shop

You get a donator ticket which can be exchanged for quite a variety of items like Donator Whips (Bronze..Iron..Cyan...etc), Partyhats, Santa Hats, Donator Blades, Member ring, etc.
