Black Dhide + ranger set vs 3rd age range

How come black dhide is stronger than 3rd range? I know 3rd range is more tanky, but come on :/.

3rd range does not buff maxhit, but the accuracy of ranged. Also it gives additional defenses ;)
It's whatever you prefer, really. Accuracy or maxhit.

Its pretty hard to choose between both, but I would always choose accuracy, so that'd be 3rd age range.
