I plan to go avatars today, any info on the npc and how to kill it it welcome, also drop rates etc . .

Using a bgs & dds seems to be quite effective.

Also look out for the magers, they'll attack you even if you have no items..

I've been doing Avatars for a while now and still haven't got a Third Age piece. I imagine the drop rate to be quite low considering the price of Third Age items. However, as for killing them, I use a Rare Whip and a DDS and I kill them pretty swiftly. BGS, on the other hand, would be a greater weapon to use, for the aforementioned reasons.

Anyone knows if the strength avatars are still the easiest to kill or do they also hit high through protection prayers?
