autotyping

I am a bit confused, I have been playing this game for a while now and the thing I have always been wondering is, is autotyping allowed or not?
If yes are there area's where it is allowed and where it isn't or is it allowed everywhere? 2

You generally won't get muted for it if it's on a 5 second timer or slower. Though you will be told to turn it off if you aren't in spam areas such as the duel arena or the GE. If you don't listen to those warnings you can get muted for it. Tl;dr: It's allowed.
