A quick question...

I have a range pure who has 86 range and his combat level is 65.
The thing after Thomy lowered the range hits and shit, I was thinking of improving my pure to a gmaul pure, so my question is would that effect on my combat level?
Cause I had 1 magic and I worked on that and it's not about 60 and my level didn't change at all... so what would happen if I trained att and str?
Please only those who are 100% sure of the answer reply to me, thanks.

Thank you bros, and As I thought if I get 50 att and 80 strength according to the site I will get about 3 or 4 combat levels up :) so yeah...

I'm pretty sure it follows the same combat level system as RS, so it likely would have an effect.
