Training in Rs3
« on: March 23, 2015, 06:01:30 am »
Where are the best places to train melee in rs3 (highest xp/hour?)

I've tried the methods on the runescape wiki, but they are really slow.

My attack is 72, defence 60, str 67.
I have 14m and membership, and have dragon armor, fury ammy, rock shell gloves and boots, abby whip, Off-hand Dragon longsword, dragon 2h, and dragon claws. Where should I go?

Did you try hellhounds? I haven't tried them myself, because I found training melee while doing slayer tasks a lot more enjoyable. Built up some great bank doing that as well.

EDIT:

I JUST REMEMBERED. Deadly Red Spiders were GREAT exp. I used the spot in Karamja volcano. I prefer using the old combat system as well, not EoC there. Get a CRUSH weapon. Use a Saradomin Sword if you get 75 attack and under 75 attack, I used the obby maul. Worked wonders.

I suggest slayer but if you want to just train melee then try hellhounds with full guthans. Fire giants are pretty good too.

Thanks. I'll do some slayer and see how that works.

Meanwhile, I'll leave this open for more discussion regarding other methods.

Also, what is better for training?

EOC, legacy, or momentum?

EOC, use revolution. You can still manually use your abilities even if you're using revolution.
