Exactly, one-time. It's really pointless to use now. Previously it was great against dragons because you could recharge it at the spot. Recharging the shield between boss kills or PvP fights is just a huge setback.

If the max hit truly is 70 vs other players then it is everything but useless, even when the accuracy is very low.

People have generally stopped using gmaul because of it's lack of accuracy, it's no longer reliable.

Low accuracy but high damage means you'll have to rely on RNG for your hits a lot. Relying on rng makes things unviable due to them not being reliable. Rng reliant things in PvP tend to generate a lot of frustration. You can compare it to dying to a draven's last basic attack critting while he only has 10% crit chance, many people will rage and it is thus no fun.

Dfs spec should be somewhat reliable due to it's annoying charging process.
