The spears are all two-handed, checked in-game. Not sure if you're mixing them up with hastae.

I've rechecked it since I was sure I can use shield with spear, and noticed, that only rune and adamant spears can be worn with shield.

Yeah it appears that all poisoned spears from bronze to rune can be wielded with a shield while the regular ones cannot. This is most likely a bug.

Wiki is just a collection of available information, I couldn't prove most of what's on it. If Sanfew says that he's posting dank memes, then I write that into Wiki in case anyone needs to know what Sanfew is up to.

As for the wiki picture, I haven't updated my graphics drivers yet, that's probably why he looks different on the screenshot I just took.
