*NO DOUBLE ENTRIES, AND YES I ACTUALLY CHECK SO DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT TRYING*Duel tournament Duelling is a favourite hobby of many Emps players, and it's time for me to announce the second annual official Halloween Duelling tournament to celebrate Halloween!
This event will take place at:
Sunday, 30th October, 4 PM (GMT +0), World 2, at the Duel Arena ingame. It is expected to last about 2-3 hours, depending on the amount of participants.
Players can sign up in this topic, by simply replying with the username they will use for duelling. Ironman accounts and a multitude of accounts sharing the same UUID are not allowed. There is no entry fee.
Players can also sign up by contacting staff members online in the hours before the event.
Terms of duelling in the Halloween Duel Tournament:- If a signed up participant does not show up, he/she will be disqualified. It is not possible to play your match later or earlier than the event takes place.
- This Duel tournament will consist solely out of whip-staking (only level 70 whips allowed, no elemental).
- You can use poisoned Dragon Dagger (dds) during stakes as well for a lucky poison damage. No special attacks allowed.
- Ironman accounts are excluded from this Tournament.
- No armour, other weapons, prayers, magic, range nor food or potions will be permitted at any moment during a match.
- No movement is allowed.
- No obstacles allowed. All matches will take place in the first arena.
- Each player will stake atleast 1 item of any value to determine the winner or a draw via logs if needed. If it occurs that the logs need to be checked and no items were staked, the match will be redone regardless of perceived outcome.
- It is recommended you set your tournament match rules to the aforementioned rules to prevent disqualification.
- If any participant fails to oblige to these terms, he/she will be disqualified and cannot participate in the tournament any longer.
- If any participant is disqualified, the opponent of the match the participant was planned for, will be declared the winner.
- Staff members hold the right to kick players who do not play an official Tournament match in the Tournament arena during the time of the event.
The matches will follow a knock-out bracket system:The first matches will all be in BO1 format (Best of 1), the quarterfinals (last 8 players) will be in BO3 format and the final and the 3rd place match will be in BO5 format.
