Galaxy or Iphon ?

Don't buy Samsung or Apple. Brands like Huawei provide similar quality products and are generally a lot cheaper.

I'd go for the Samsung Galaxy because of the Android OS but I personally prefer a Sony Xperia phone. The M-series are quite cheap and really decent phones, also, the camera of Sony Xperia phones are great.

It comes down to personal preference and budget.
Apple is usually in the higher end of the pricing range, unless you decide to go for something from previous generation. Android however gives you a wide range of options in every price range.

From my personal experience since (each-gen) iPhones are identical in hardware, there are less software issues compared to Android, which have various hardware combinations.
For me the software is the turnpoint. By default ios is more user-friendly, but android is more personalizable. However if you're experienced enough, iPhones can be jailbroken and then personalised to the same extent as androids can.

I would go for Sony. I own a Xperia Z Ultra and it's awesome even if it's from late 2013, it's still at kind of the top specs.

If I had the money to spend then I'd choose iPhone. I simply don't enjoy Samsung phones because they experience some lag at one point. If it'd be Htc vs iPhone, or Sony vs iPhone, then I'd go for android.

iOS is more user-friendly and as Windows Phones is built for specific tasks and you mostly can't do other stuff, if not jailbreak.
Android is becoming as user-friendly as other operating systems lately. You can customise it a lot more, and top decives also offer some better features.
It's a personal preference but I like more Adroid OS devices, even though iOS ones aren't so bad.

I can only see 1 reason to pick edge, and it is bigger battery.

Better Camerae ,Better Quality  , Bigger screen , More safety under water , hard to broke the lcd screen , faster , has more ram.
Isn't all these features true ?

I've had iPhones for years then swapped to a galaxy for about 1 year then went straight back to iPhone, I've just always preferred them imo
