I wanna start making video guides and I was wondering what's a good program to record Emps-World and what's a good program to edit (both free pls)

camtasia for recording and redigating.
Or you could use camtasia/fraps/hypercam or anything like that for recording, then sony vegas for the editing.

Hypercam and sony vegas, they are good for beginners yes, but vegas can be hard.

If you want to start editing with Vegas, you probably need to start looking at some simple editing tips & styles from youtube. It is very hard to start from 0. But i guess Sony Vegas is the best one out there for editing videos. It has so many different styles & ADD-ons, which makes the best effects.
