years ago i had an xbox profile, with lots of downloads and other shit i payed for but forgot the password so i made a new one. well ive just been messing around and actually recovered my old account, with all my purchases. is there any way to transfer them all to my new account so i dont have to pay for another xbox live membership for a 2nd account?

yeah, just look up a video on how to license transfer on xbox. you basically just log into your old account and go into your downloads and redownload them. this should help if i understood what you meant.
